Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT CM EKNATH SHINDE.

On July 30, Eknath Shinde, the leader of the revolt against Uddhav Thackeray, the chairman of the Shiv Sena, was sworn in as the 20th Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Previously in his career, he served in the administration of the state as Cabinet Minister of Urban Development and Public Works (Public Undertakings). The 58-year-old man is a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and represents the Kopri-Pachpakhadi seat in Thane. He has been elected to the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly for a total of 4 consecutive terms, in 2004, 2009, 2014, and 2019.

Shinde is a member of the Maratha community and is originally from the taluka located in Satara known as Jawali. In order to provide for his family in Thane, he used to work as an auto-rickshaw driver. In 1997, he won a seat in the Thane Municipal Corporation election and the Shiv Sena gave him the responsibility of working there. This enabled him to establish a foundation in the area.

Anand Dighe, who served as President of the Thane Shiv Sena at the time, was the one who encouraged Shinde to enter politics in the early 1980s, and when Dighe passed away in 2001, Shinde became the heir apparent to his legacy. After establishing a labour union for the party, he quickly advanced through the ranks of the organisation. When Bal Thackeray’s nephew Raj resigned from the Shiv Sena and established the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, his standing within the party improved, and he was promoted to a higher position.

In the year 2000, Shinde’s son, who was 11 years old, and his daughter, who was seven years old, both drowned while on a boat excursion. Shinde fell into a state of sadness, and Dighe was there for him throughout this period. Dr Shrikant Shinde, Shinde’s lone surviving kid, is an orthopaedic surgeon and, since 2014, the elected Member of Parliament to the Lok Sabha from the Kalyan seat. Shrikant Shinde is Shinde’s sole child to have survived infancy.

The alliance found itself in a precarious position on June 21, when dissident leader Shinde and many other MLAs from the Maha Vikas Aghadi fled to Surat in the Gujarat region that is administered by the BJP. This action precipitated the crisis. As a direct consequence of this, Uddhav Thackeray tendered his resignation as Chief Minister of Maharashtra and said that he would also step down from his seat on the Maharashtra Legislative Council.

Shinde will be sworn in as the next Chief Minister of the state on July 1, according to an announcement made by the Leader of the Opposition Devendra Fadnavis at a joint news conference held on June 30. His wife, Lata Eknath Shinde, is also in the building company, and they have two children together. Shrikant Shinde, the couple’s son, is both a politician and an orthopaedic surgeon. He goes by the name Shrikant.

Dr Shrikant Shinde, a candidate for the BJP, became victorious in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections in the Kalyan seat, where he was running against Anand Paranjape, the candidate nominated by the NCP. He is now serving as a member of the Indian Parliament. On June 2, 2000, he lost two of his children, a boy called Dipesh Shinde and a girl named Shubhada Shinde. Both of these children were his children.

Eknath Shinde studied through eleventh class and stopped his education to make a life for his family. When he was working as an autorickshaw driver in the 1980s, he was introduced to Shivsena supremo Bal Thackeray and Shivsena’s Thane District Chief Anand Dighe, both of whom assisted him in joining the Shiv Sena. At the time, Thackeray was the party’s leader, and Dighe was the district chief for Thane. After that, he began organising a number of political and social protests that were centred on concerns such as inflation, black marketing, stockpiling of critical commodities such as palm oil by merchants, and other related topics.

Since he took part in the protests near the border between Maharashtra and Karnataka, the police held him in custody for a total of forty days. In 1997, he was given the responsibility of serving as the Corporator of the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC). In 2001, he was put up for nomination to the post of House Leader in TMC, and he remained in that role until 2004. In 2001, with the passing of Anand Dighe, he was given the responsibility of leading the Thane district as its head.

Under Eknath Shinde’s direction, the Shiv Sena eventually won the kingship in the Badlapur Municipal Council, the Ambernath Municipal Council, the Bhiwandi Municipal Corporation, the Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation, the Thane Municipal Corporation, and the Kalyan-Dombivali Municipal Corporation. Additionally, the Shiv Sena won the Thane Municipal Corporation. In 2004, Bal Thackeray provided him with the option to run for election to the assembly, and he won his seat as a member of the legislative assembly (MLA) with a significant majority of the vote in the Thane legislative assembly constituency.

In 2005, Shiv Sena appointed him to serve as the District Chief for the Thane area. His victory in three consecutive legislative assembly elections in 2009, 2014, and 2019 led to his designation as the head of the Shiv Sena legislative party and as the Leader of the Opposition in the Maharashtra Assembly. These positions he now holds as of 2019 are as follows: In December of 2019, Eknath Shinde was formally appointed to the position of Minister of Public Works.

He was appointed to the position of chairman of the Maharashtra State Roads Development Corporation as an extra responsibility (MSRDC). In 2019, he was designated as the Health Minister of Maharashtra, and soon after, he hit the headlines for filling the 890 posts of MBBS doctors and specialists in several hospitals, issuing regulations to pay salaries to the contract workers under the National Health Scheme, establishing dialysis centres in sub-district hospitals, and authorising 60 dispensaries under the “Balasaheb Thackeray Aapla Dawakhana” scheme. He also hit the headlines for establishing

In addition to this, he founded the Mahavir Jain Hospital in Thane’s Hajuri neighbourhood in collaboration with the Thane Municipality and an organisation called Jito. In 2019, he was given the additional task of serving as Minister for the Department of Public Works (Public Undertakings), in addition to his previous role as Minister for the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. On the 30th of June in the year 2022, he took the oath of office to become the 20th Chief Minister of Maharashtra.

He maintains a high level of activity across a variety of social media sites. He has more than 164 thousand followers following him on Instagram. His Facebook profile has more than 401 thousand followers. On his many social media platforms, you may often find photographs and videos documenting his political rallies and campaigns. During the time that he was appointed to the position of Leader of the Opposition Party, he never ceased to bring up important state issues, such as The Cluster Development scheme for dilapidated illegal buildings in Thane and MMR, the Thane Metro, a New Extended Thane Station between Thane and Mulund, Water Scarcity, the coastal security of the state, the Modernization of the Police Force, Inflation, the increasing debt of the State, etc.

Career:

Shinde’s tenure as municipal commissioner of Thane saw the green light given to a number of significant construction endeavours, including Cluster Development and the Thane Metro. Shinde advocated on a regular basis for measures that would provide rehabilitation for the lakhs of inhabitants of Thane who had become homeless as a result of the unlawful construction of structures throughout the course of time. The Mumbai-Pune Expressway project, also known as MSRDC, was started in 1996 with the intention of fostering road construction across the state. This plan resulted in the construction of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link in Mumbai, as well as the first motorway on the Mumbai-Pune Express Highway, two flyovers in Mumbai, and the Bandra-Worli Sea Link.

Despite this, progress on this project slowed significantly not long after the Congress-NCP administration took office in 1999, and the reasons for this are mostly political in nature. After that, when the Shiv Sena was elected to power in Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde was assigned the responsibility of running the MSRDC department. In the subsequent five years, Shinde was in charge of the administration, and during that time many enormous projects were completed. Some of these projects included the Mumbai-Nagpur Expressway (Samrudhhi Highway), the Mumbai-Pune Express Highway Capacity Extension, the Third Bridge on Thane Bay at Vashi, the Bandra-Versova Sea Link, six-laning and concretization of roads, 27 railway fly pools in Vidarbha, the Thane-Borivli Subway

On the occasion of Bakrid in 2013, at least 177 leaders of the Shiv Sena, including Eknath Shinde, demonstrated at Durgadi Fort, a location where Muslims were permitted to recite the prayer of the Namaz. The protesters requested that the Hindus who had been practising their rites in the fort for such a long period of time be allowed to continue doing so, despite the fact that they had been denied permission to recite Namaz on the occasion of Bakrid. During the demonstrations, Eknath Shinde and 177 other leaders were detained for demonstrating against the approval of Namaz. Shinde was among those imprisoned.

Shinde took several steps when he was appointed as the Corporator of the Thane Municipal Corporation. Some of these steps included the authorised placement of metal beam crash barriers and wire rope barriers along the road, and in the centre. Other steps included applying thermoplastic paint all over the highway and the Rambler. Shinde’s goal was to reduce the number of road accidents that occurred along the Mumbai-Pune speeding route.

On 22 November 2020, Eknath Shinde and his son Shrikant Shinde opened a strawberry factory in Mahakaleshwar, Madhya Pradesh, with the intention of producing strawberries via the use of contemporary methods. Eknath Shinde came to the attention of the public on June 20, 2022, when he and many other Shiv Sena MLAs were found to have cast their ballots for the opposing party in the elections for the legislative council in June 2022. This brought them into the spotlight.

According to reports, the BJP will emerge victorious in the race for MLC seats as a consequence of cross-voting. Immediately after the elections, it was reported that he and his companion MLAs had vanished, and there were rumours that he was residing in a hotel in the city of Surat in the Indian state of Gujarat. It wasn’t long before it was reported that Eknath Shinde was dissatisfied with the way the Shiv Sena operated, as stated by a few sources in the media. In an interview with the media, the head of the Shiv Sena, Sanjay Raut, said that Eknath Shinde had gone rogue against the party’s ideals.

Along with a number of other Shiv Sena MLAs, Eknath Shinde, who was serving as the minister of urban development in the Maharashtra government led by Uddhav Thackeray, had defected from the government, which resulted in the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government being thrust into a significant political crisis. The senior Sena leader first said that they had the backing of at least 15 MLAs, and since then, that number has only continued to rise.

Shinde was elected the leader of the Shiv Sena legislative party after his victory in 2014, and he subsequently served as the Leader of the Opposition in the Maharashtra Assembly for a short period of time. However, the Shiv Sena soon formally joined the BJP government in Maharashtra, which was led by Fadnavis. This caused Shinde to lose his position as Leader of the Opposition in the Maharashtra Assembly. He was appointed as the Minister of the Public Works Department in the Fadnavis government.

During the decade that spanned from 2004 to 2014, Shinde served as an MLA for the principal opposition party in the assembly. During that time, he consistently brought up issues that affected both the state as a whole and Thane in particular. The most notable of these was the cluster development scheme for dilapidated illegal buildings in Thane and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), the Thane Metro, a new extended thane station between Thane and Mulund, water scarcity, coastal security for the state

Shinde is a member of the Maratha caste and hails from the rugged Jawali taluka in the Satara district. He has a significant amount of power in the Shiv Sena stronghold of Thane. In addition to that, he is responsible for bolstering the party in a variety of different locations. Early in his career, Shinde worked a variety of odd jobs, and it was at this time that he fell under the influence of Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray and the party’s Thane district leader Anand Dighe.

In the 1980s, he became a member of the Shiv Sena and was quickly promoted to the position of shakha pramukh of Kisan Nagar. Since that time, he has been at the forefront of several agitations that have been launched by his party on social and political concerns such as inflation, black marketing, and the hoarding of critical commodities such as palm oil by merchants, amongst other things.

In 1985, he was again detained for his participation in the border protests between Maharashtra and Karnataka. He was incarcerated for more than forty days at the Bellary prison. His son, Dr Shrikant Shinde, is an orthopaedic surgeon and was elected to the Lok Sabha from the Kalyan seat. His brother, Prakash Shinde, is a councillor in the city.
