Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT Ben Mitchell.
Since his introduction to viewers on March 21, 1996, Ben Mitchell, a fictitious character from the British soap opera EastEnders, has been portrayed by six actors during the show’s 22-year run. Between 1996 and 1998, Matthew Silver performed the role of a newborn Ben, while Morgan Whittle described the part of a toddler, Ben, between 1999 and 2001. In 2006, Charlie Jones returned to the series after being absent for the previous five years to play the part of Ben.
Joshua Pascoe was chosen to play the part of the character when it was recast in 2010, and he made his debut on December 13 of that same year. Both Pascoe and Ben resigned from their positions in 2012, with Ben leaving on August 24 of that year. Ben’s comeback was initially scheduled for September 22, 2014. However, it was confirmed in May 2014 that Harry Reid would be playing the part instead. In 2017, the character of Reid was eliminated from the show via writing, and on January 12, 2018, Ben left the cast. In 2019, Ben made his return. However, Max Bowden now plays the part he previously had. On April 1, 2019, Ben made his way back.
Ben’s storylines include the following: a feud between the show’s Mitchell family and the Beale family for his custody; developing a love of dance and the arts, which is a source of tension between him and his father, Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden); being physically and mentally abused by Phil’s girlfriend Stella Crawford (Sophie Thompson); struggling to come to terms with his homosexuality and then attempting to hide it before coming out; and coming out as a homosexual.
Being sentenced to prison for manslaughter after killing Heather Trott (Cheryl Fergison) by accident; having a daughter named Lexi Pearce with Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold); discovering that his mother, Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), is still alive after faking her death; having relationships with Paul Coker (Jonny Labey) and the closeted Callum Highway (Tony Clay); coming to terms with Paul’s death.
After receiving an injury during the boat catastrophe, he began a life of crime with Danny Hardcastle (Paul Usher), eventually losing his hearing. In April of 2022, it was revealed that Ben would be participating in a plot on male rape, in which he would be raped by Lewis Butler (played by Aidan O’Callaghan). Critics were not very impressed with Jones’ performance as Ben, which he gave in this role. Grace Dent, a columnist for The Guardian, expressed her disapproval of the character in several articles, and she subsequently approached the BBC with several comedic ideas for stories in which he might be killed off.
On the other hand, the plot line in which Stella assaulted Ben received “Best Storyline” at the 2007 Inside Soap Awards and was nominated for “Best Soap Storyline” at both the TV Quick and TV Choice Awards. In 2012, Pascoe was considered for the “Villain of the Year” award; however, he was ultimately defeated by Andrew Lancel (Coronation Street). Ben’s subsequent, drawn-out coming-out plot was praised by Lisa O’Connell, who also contributed to The Guardian, and she referred to it as “a perfect foundation for years of dramatic conflict.”
Ben Mitchell was born in March of 1996 to Phil Mitchell, played by Steve McFadden, and his then-wife Kathy Beale, played by Gillian Taylforth. Ben becomes unwell and is transported to the hospital, where doctors determine that he has meningitis and is partially deaf in one of his ears due to the illness. Phil takes to drink and has an affair with Lorna Cartwright (Janet Dibley), which ultimately leads to the dissolution of his marriage to Kathy. This co-occurs as Kathy offers all of her attention to Ben.
In 1998, Kathy uprooted her life and relocated to South Africa, bringing Ben along for the ride. He traveled with her on two separate occasions in 1999 before accompanying her on their trip back to South Africa at the beginning of 2000. In 2001, Kathy tied the knot with a guy named Gavin Sullivan (an unknown character at the time but was subsequently portrayed by Paul Nicholas). In the same year, Ben makes a fleeting visit home to spend some time with Phil before Phil transports him back to South Africa.
In 2006, the locals learn that Kathy and Gavin were murdered in a vehicle accident; thus, Ben (now portrayed by Charlie Jones) moves back to England to be with his half-brother, Ian Beale (played by Adam Woodyatt), who lives there. After a protracted legal struggle for custody, Phil emerges victorious. Finally, he moves in with Phil.Ben has a negative opinion of Phil’s new girlfriend, Stella Crawford, played by Sophie Thompson. Stella believes that Ben is interfering with her and Phil’s relationship.

Career:
She hurts Ben physically and mentally by burning him with a hot spoon, trying to ruin his relationship with Abi Branning (Lorna Fitzgerald) when she finds out about it, and threatening to murder Phil if Ben tells anybody about her acts. Phil and Stella have decided to get engaged. On the day before they were supposed to get married, in July 2007, Ben confessed to Stella that she had been abusing him; she then committed herself by leaping from a roof.
In the aftermath, Phil, who is recovering from alcoholism, starts drinking again; nevertheless, he decides to return to a life of sobriety for the sake of Ben. Ben develops a passion for dance, something Phil is entirely unaware of. He fools Phil into giving him his blessing by completing a dancing test that he has been keeping a secret from him. In March of 2010, Phil Mitchell’s daughter Louise Mitchell, played by Brittany Papple, visits her father’s family and stays with them. She takes Ben’s journal and makes a note in it that makes it seem like he is homosexual.
Ben exacts his revenge by setting fire to Louise’s hand like Stella set fire to his. Later, in May of 2010, he decides to punish Louise by locking her in a summerhouse for the day, and then he claims to have found her to get his father’s favor. While Louise first points the finger of blame at Jordan Johnson (Michael-Joel David Stuart), a friend of Ben’s, Phil discovers burn scars on Louise’s arm, which prompts Louise to admit that Ben is to blame.
Phil is concerned that Ben is imitating Stella, so he strikes him in the face when he sees Ben trying to burn Louise again. Ben argues that Jordan is bullying whenever he questions why he injured Louise. Phil encourages Ben to retaliate, and shortly afterward, he strikes Jordan with a wrench, causing the latter to suffer a skull fracture. Ben eventually comes clean and moves in with Ian, despite Phil’s best efforts to dissuade him from disclosing his involvement in the assault.
After hearing from the Crown Court that Ben could spend time in juvenile detention, Phil plans to send Ben to live abroad with his brother Grant Mitchell (Ross Kemp). However, Ben refuses to go thanks to his grandmother, Peggy Mitchell (Barbara Windsor), who convinces him to change his mind after Phil’s girlfriend Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) overhears Phil discussing the plans with Ben and receives an eight-month sentence as a result of overhearing Phil discussing the methods to Ben.
In July 2010, it was shown that Phil does blame Peggy for Ben’s sentence. When the Mitchell family finds out that Ben is being tormented by Cal Childs (Danny Barnham), Ben requests them not to see him. He assures Peggy and Phil that he is coping even though Cal Childs is bullying him. Ben, who Joshua Pascoe now portrays, is finally freed. When he returns home, he finds that Jay Brown, played by Jamie Borthwick and is the foster kid of Phil’s uncle Billy, played by Perry Fenwick, has taken his place in Phil’s affections. Joshua Pascoe has replaced Ben’s character.
Ben first has feelings of jealousy against Jay. Still, with time, the two come to form a “brotherly” bond with one another. Ben takes out his rage on those who have wronged him by hitting Phil in the face and shoving Glenda Mitchell, Phil’s aunt (played by Glynis Barber), down a flight of stairs for spoiling his homecoming celebration. Ben begins going to the gym, where he has his first kiss with the boxer Duncan Willis, played by Steven France.
